The Advanced sugaring technique is an ancient form of hair removal.
It's less painful than waxing. Hair is removed in the direction of growth so it's more effective and without broken hairs. Sugar is water soluble so there isn't sticky residue left on the skin and no oil. Just clean, smooth skin.
We can extract hairs as short as 1/16 of an inch... about 3-5 days growth.

Posted:Wednesday, March 15 2006, 07:16:57 | | This was my first experience with brazilian, so I was very nervous and apprehensive about the procedure. Lara is very good at putting a customer at ease. She is very knowledgable about not only hair removal, but physiology, biology and a plethora of other subjects. She keeps the conversation at a non-stop pace so that you almost forget that you're having your pubic hairs ripped out by the roots. My main concern going in was pain, and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Lara informed me that a traditional waxing is much more painful than sugaring. Apparently, the first session is always the most painful. After that the roots of the hair are looser and let go easier. The whole procedure took about an hour and afterwards I was slightly puffy and tender, but still able to walk and function like a normal human being. Now that things have settled down, it feels great, and my wife loved the new look. Better yet, she loves the way it feels. Another perk is that it gives the illusion of being bigger than you really are. Lara is a true master at her craft and I would highly recommend her. She's gained a loyal following, so it's tough to get an appointment. Book now. |

A bit anxious about pain and sporting wood during the procedure. Shouldn't have worried. Lara was a pro! Very informative about the process, extremely professional and had a very calming manner which eased any discomfort. The process was relatively painless and the results were enjoyed by both myself and my wife! I'm going back next week! Lara - you, the brazillian and the sugar technique ROCK!
